Congratulations on your engagement! So you’re now thinking about booking your wedding cake.
All couples who enquire about a wedding cake are invited to a consultation to talk about their ideas.
Before the consultation
- Drop us an e-mail to find out if we’re available on your wedding date. If you have an idea of the style of cake you’d like we can give you a rough quote.
- Don’t worry if you’re not sure yet, if you know a rough number of guests/size of cake we can give you an idea of a price range.
- If we’re available, you’ll be invited to a consultation where you can talk about your ideas and take some cake home to try.
- Choose some flavours you’d like to try. Couples usually pick up to four flavours of cake at a consultation.
- Start thinking about how you’d like the cake to look. Feel free to bring along inspiration pictures/colour ideas
During the consultation
- We’ll talk about what ideas you have for your wedding cake. Don’t worry if you’re not sure what you want as I can offer as much guidance/inspiration as you’d like.
- As we’re chatting about your wedding, I’ll jot down some notes.
After the consultation
- I’ll write up everything we discussed at the consultation and send it to you along with the final quote and information about how to confirm the booking.
- You can ask any questions you may have forgotten to ask at the consultation.
